Trek to Umberkhind

Umberkhind : A Battlefield Trek in Maharashtra

Retrace the footsteps of Chhatrapati Shivaji and his army to Umberkhind, where he cleverly defeated Mughal ruler Kartalab Khan. Alive with history, this trail takes trekkers back to the 17th century.

Trek Schedule:-

The journey starts with the Indrayani express. Participants registered should catch this train from respective stations. (Plz get to your respected stations at least 15 mins earlier).

CST – 5:40 am

Dadar – 5.51 am

Thane – 6.14 am

Kalyan – 6.35 am

Lonavla – 8.00 am

Pune participants :- Catch Pune Lonavala Local Train … Timings are as below:

Pune Station: 06:27 Hrs

Shivaji Nagar : 06:33 Hrs

Lonavala Station: 07:50 Hrs

Breakfast – Tea Time @ lonavala Station

08:45 Hrs: Move 2 Kurvande village by Ricks / Jeeps

09:00 Hrs: @ Kurvande Village

09:30 Hrs: Ascend to Chavani Village

Exploration, Lunch, rest etc (2 hrs approx)

14:30 Hrs: @ Base village on Khopoli side

From Base to Khopoli by Ricks / Jeeps

Catch Khopoli to Mumbai local train on way back

The charges for this trek is Rs 800/- per head, which includes Transport, Lunch.
